Our founder, Dave Hannes, grew up in a house full of cameras — his father was one of the first to bring the consumer camera to Australia. Every year the family sent out hundreds of personal greeting cards: real photographs, handwriting, stamps, the lot. It was ordinary, and it was the best part of the year.
Times changed. The cards stopped and the messages started, and now most of what we say to the people we love is locked inside iMessage and WhatsApp — read, replied to, and gone by Tuesday. Nothing gets kept. Nothing gets put on a fridge.
loved brings back what's real, without asking for the afternoon it used to take. Choose a card, write your note, add a gift if you like — we print it, stamp it and post it. About a minute, roughly the length of the text message you'd have sent instead.
We're deliberately small about what we do. We don't write your message, suggest what to say, or turn any of this into a feed. The card is yours; we're the bit in the middle that used to involve a car trip.
