Loved.com is not a Charity

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

just following up my rhetorical post about Loved dot com being for sale.

Everything is for sale. Isn’t it? But if anyone wants Loved dot com then you need to offer me $USD5 million. Yes that’s 5 million US dollars. I’m happy to receive 5 million British pounds too by the way.

Why? Why not! I still have some grandiose plans for Loved dot com but hey…i haven’t realised them yet.

And it’s mine. So if you want it….hey… peter at loved dot com is where you can find me.

cheers

peter

ps: oh and beware of the WordPress “Save and Continue Editing” feature…..nope…it publishes what you’ve just typed. Be aware!!!!!!!!

2008 – An Important Year for the World

Sunday, January 6th, 2008

Here we are. Another new year. Unfortunately it’s full of violence – Kenya springs to mind, but Iraq and Afghanistan are still suffering.

Remember them? The USA seems to be focused on an election where only 30% of the USA people vote anyway. They don’t care about Iraq or the Afghanis right now….maybe. But George WW got voted in and look at what he did (and didn’t do to the USA economy) so you should care.

Vote. It’s easy. Get up off the couch, the sofa, the lounge, your rocking chair….whatever.

Just vote.

cheers

Made In China

Tuesday, January 1st, 2008

yep. Sounds like xenophobia but this Christmas break, tell me that you bought something easily identifiable as “made in Australia” (where i’m from) or “made in USA” where a lot of my hits come from or “made in (insert your country here) ”

Bullshit.

Sooooo many jobs have been lost in Australia and other countries and now stuff is made in China where they used to made here, and other countries.
